About Us
Our Story
Asali is a family honey farm in Doha, Qatar. The name comes from the Arabic word for honey, and it is a promise we take literally: what goes into our jars is honey, and nothing else. We keep our own hives, harvest in small batches and bottle everything ourselves, so every jar can be traced back to the desert it came from.
The Desert Difference
Desert honey is unlike anything produced in greener climates. Our bees forage on Sidr trees and hardy desert flora that survive on very little, and the nectar they give is richer, darker and more intense for it. It takes more work to produce honey this way, and you can taste exactly why we bother.
What We Make
Our range is small on purpose. Pure Sidr honey, light floral Flower honey, raw Sidr honeycomb, and two slow infusions of walnut and black seed. Each variety comes in a 180 ml jar for first tastes and a 380 ml jar for every day. There are no blends, no added sugars and no shortcuts anywhere in the range.
Our Promise
Every jar of Asali is 100% organic farm honey, produced and packed in Qatar. We never blend, never heat beyond what the honey itself would tolerate in the desert sun, and never buy in bulk honey from elsewhere. If it does not come from our hives, it does not carry our name.
